One of the events the fair had every year was the pig race. Small young pigs were given numbers and you were encouraged to root for a winner. Pretty low stakes fun. My family was sitting waiting for the event to begin. They were playing this song over the loudspeaker. I saw my father give my mother a "can you believe this?" look when hearing the chorus. I assume it was the first time he heard it. I was unfazed since there's plenty of older songs that have some raunchy themes and lyrics.
