Have you even been in a band? I'm not musically inclined, but I occasionally daydream about being able to play or if I had an amazing singing voice. Yes, I'm aware that's something you need to practice to be good at. I'm not interested enough to pursue it. Pretending is fun though.
If you didn't catch what I was alluding to, it's the Rock Band games! It was very popular in my college days and I knew multiple people who had the game as well as attended a club where it was played every week. I had a friend who loved the drums, a couple who like singing, and I liked the guitars. This song in particular was one we played a lot. Fun fact about the singing - you can sing whatever you want. You are just trying to match the pitch. One night my friend started ab libbing to this song to make it about my friend. It was hilarious! I've been kind of tempted to pick up a copy of some of the games recently. I wonder if (when?) they will make a comeback.
