I mentioned my roommate's dog had their own song, but my own dog had one too! Well, there were plenty of silly little songs for my dog. There was one in particular my wife found equal parts ridiculous and annoying.
I didn't sing the whole song. Really it was a snippet which got the lyrics changed to "Let me see your butthole". My dog was older (my wife had her for close to ten years before we moved in together). We would take her outside to do her business at the slightest sign, but this did lead to a lot of false alarms. The easiest way to tell if my dog needed to go out was to ...check her butthole. Don't worry, I won't elaborate. After hearing this song online it quickly became an anthem in our daily routine. Unfortunately, we had to put her down a couple years ago due to some health issues.
The song has kind of returned to its original meaning since I now annoy my wife when she loses something.
