I have not attended many concerts or live music. If fact, more often than not I prefer the studio perfected songs over live music. I think they sound better. Music events are also excessively loud to the point of being uncomfortable at times. My interest in live music has increased despite this over the years. I think this group could be to blame.
Video Killed the Radio Star by Postmodern Jukebox
I'm not going to assume everyone has heard of Postmodern Jukebox, but they were very popular for awhile. They do covers of popular songs in older musical styles. I've been enamored by them every since I heard about them. With style and skill they got me listening to songs I wouldn't have considered otherwise. I've seen them live not once, twice, but four times! It would have been five, but the last time they were in town my wife and I had tickets for another show. I picked this song since I remember hearing it live and being blown away. That singer sounds exactly the same live!
